O2e Ministry- Emily update 12/30: rejoicing the progress made in eating, talking, walking etc. it’s the little things like when she finally identified random things correctly like a “hamburger” knowing it’s one of her favorite foods, but it takes everything she has mentally to figure it out and find the correct word. All the while she’s carrying on conversations about life events, conversations, or discussing procedures and playing games with her brothers or sharing a snack with her sister. Emily does have HCM with left ventricular non-compaction. She’s always had it, we just didn’t know. This kind of event is how most people find out they have HCM. Emily update 12/31: She went home with a vest defibrillator. Rejoicing for so many answered prayers!Also Chris thanked us for the christmas gift delivered with a lunch, shared that it was such an inspiration to him.
Mark- Thankful for the extra days off to rest and recuperate.
Debbie- Trudy got a new bed delivered and Thankful for the hospice team.
Woodway- All the residents loved their gifts. Kat cried with the kitty figurine, Rosemary loved the owl picture.
Other Members-
Wonderful trip with the family. Son went back to rehab to pray for next steps.
Son medicine is working, improving life choices.
Thankful everyone in her life.
Daughter’s medical issues are working out and both daughter’s children travelled safely home for Christmas.
Prayer-
Mark- The next steps with talking to churches. Praying for God’s timing with people being led to join the O2E team in some way.
Debbie- Daughter and son in law’s marriage and next steps.
O2e Ministry- Emily has one more big test: a cardiac catheterization to determine how to fine tune the programming on her ICD defibrillator implant.
Donations needed- Bread, Carbs, fruit.
Woodway- Alvin had two strokes, lost his mom at Christmas, Dan Parkinson’s decline health.
Other Members Prayer requests–
Granddaughter is 21 college, good friends and her relationship with God.
Son wife is harassing him during this transition with divorce. Finalized in March. Next steps with x rays and employment for my son. Daughter relationship.
Court date on Wednesday. Unspoken.
Son is content with life in Marysville for now.
Girls issues can be resolved with house, employment for the next steps.
